Please join us at The Rockpool Pavilion on Thursday 22nd June for our JCU Business Bite, presented by Allison Dearling (Owner, Principal Teacher & Senior Yoga Therapist of Live and Breathe Yoga).

Energise your morning and boost your daily productivity with Yoga for Busy Women. Join us for an all levels yoga class that combines energising movements, breathing and mindfulness to enhance mobility, mental clarity, and overall well-being. Experience the power of grounding techniques and discover how simple practices can empower you to solve anything that comes your way. You will learn how yoga can help to centre yourself, find clarity, and embrace each day with energy.

Please dress for yoga and bring a yoga mat or towel for the session.

A light breakfast refreshment will be served (please specify any dietary requirements at check out).

Drinks are available for purchase from the venue (water will be provided).

Due to room the numbers will be strictly limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Allison Dearling

Owner, Principal teacher & Senior Yoga therapist - Live & Breathe Yoga

With over 18 years of teaching and 23 years of practice, Allison is a down-to-earth North Queensland local, with a dry sense of humour and a sense of adventure. Allison discovered the rigors of Ashtanga Yoga following a serious car accident at 18 which supported her long recovery throughout her 20s.

In 2005, Allison travelled to Scotland for a year and stayed for seven, eventually bringing home her future husband Harry, to settle back in beautiful Townsville to create Live and Breathe Yoga in 2010.

After a career in accounting and working in the television industry in Glasgow, Allison became an enthusiastic student, travelling four times to Mysore, India (the home of Ashtanga yoga) for extended periods of study and travelling to train with many teachers in the US, the UK and Australia.

With a Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy, Allison loves working one-to-one with people for therapeutic and rehabilitative yoga, to find balance, ease and peace. She specialises in helping her students feel confident in their bodies by using specific yogic practices that suit their individual needs. Live and Breathe Yoga now has an incredible team of teachers trained and mentored by Allison bringing high quality yoga classes, retreats, corporate yoga and teacher education to the region.
