Mid-Year Reset: Meditation for Leadership
Helen will introduce the 8 qualities of self leadership, and the benefits of meditation and how specifically meditation can be used in a leadership context. Also, how we can be more considered in our decisions and actions. This will be followed up by a 20 minute meditation practice at your seat.
Please bring something comfortable / warm from home should you wish e.g. a shawl, or blanket/throw…slippers even. This will be fun and a bit different 😊
A light breakfast will be served (please specify any dietary requirements at check out).

Helen Sheeran

Hi I’m Helen the founder and Director of Realising Possibilities.
I am passionate about working with busy professional women to experience optimum mental health and well-being through mindfulness, psychotherapy, hypnosis and leadership coaching.
I also provide organisational consultancy services that include group facilitation aimed at enhancing workplace communication, Action Learning Coaching for executive teams and critical incident management.
I enjoy collaborating with individuals and groups in applying practical, ethical, strengths-based strategies to facilitate recovery from adversity and optimise personal growth and development in the workplace.
I’m enthusiastic about preventing employee burnout through early intervention for the prevention of workplace psychosocial hazards.
Helen is a Clinical Mental Health Social Worker, psychotherapist, and educator with a multifaceted career in mental health, community development and education spanning 30 years. She is the recent past president of the North Queensland Branch of the National Australian Association of Social Workers and previously a member of the teaching faculty JCU school of Social work, and Australian College of Applied Psychology.
When I am not at work I love spending time in my garden, taking long walks with my dog, games nights with my family and participating in local community cultural activities.
