Kellie Stephenson is the founder of the hugely impactful Support Local Townsville platform. Kellie has over 20 years experience in marketing and business across industries such as Retail, Local Government, Mining, Construction, Project Management, Travel and Tourism. She is an advocate for local business, with a mission to educate everyone on the importance of supporting their local economy. Kellie completed her marketing degree prior to the digital era. She uses her theoretical knowledge together with her experiences and further education and training to ensure that she delivers current social media trend advice through her popular workshops and consultations. The feedback from her existing and previous clients speaks for itself, Kellie goes over and above to ensure everybody feels supported to have the confidence to promote their brand on social media. In the 5 years since Support Local Townsville initiative has been running, Kellie has made immense efforts to put herself out there in the Community and volunteers a lot of her time with charities and community groups, because of these immense efforts Kellie was awarded the Community Minded Business Woman of the Year award at the 2021 ADITS Townsville Business Women Circle Awards night.
