More About the Event

Please join us at The Rockpool Pavilion on Thursday 25th May for our May JCU Business Bite, presented by Julie Johnston on the Power of PR.

The media are always looking for credible industry sources and great stories to engage their audience, but they can’t interview you if they don’t know about you!

In our May Business Bites, Julie Johnston from Creative Concepts PR and BDmag will explain how a proactive PR Strategy can help create brand exposure, position you as a leader in your field, and generate sales leads.

Julie will show us some basic steps on how you can create a newsworthy angle, identify your target media and pitch your story to journalists, with links to some templates to help get you started to create your own PR.

A light breakfast refreshment will be served (please specify any dietary requirements at check out).

Drinks are available for purchase from the venue (water will be provided).

Notepads & Pens will be provided for each of you by our printing sponsors XRX Business Centre.

Please note: once your purchase has been completed your ticket is non-refundable
