Leadership Program
TBWC + Breathe 2022/23 FY Leadership Program
There’s never been a more important time to equip ourselves with tools to build resilience and leadership capabilities. That’s why we are so pleased to be starting our new Townsville Business Women’s Circle leadership program in 2022.
The program was due to start in late February 2022. However, many of you have reached out to us to say that now is not the right time to start the program, given the multiple challenges of this pandemic wave.
We’ve heard your concerns and are delighted to announce that we are pushing the program back four months to the beginning of the next financial year in July 2022. Between now and then, we will be contacting you with more information about the program, how you can get involved and the fantastic guest experts who will be involved with our program.
The program creator, Andy Roberts, will be working on his other leadership projects in North Queensland between now and the program start. So if you want to learn more about the TBWC leadership project, reach out to Andy for a coffee catch up.
The program includes face to face workshops, webinar sessions, one-to-one coaching, online leadership content, and fantastic guest experts from around the world.
The revised dates for the program are below. Plus, there’s more information about two of our ten guest experts below.
Early bird payment
We are limiting the program to a maximum of 15 participants. The full cost of the program is $4,000 plus GST. However, with the program being pushed forward by four months, we are also moving the early bird discount forward for the program.
The program starts on 1st July, and there is a discounted rate of $3,500 if payment is made before 30th April 2022. We will close registrations once we reach 15.
In our experience, this group size best supports a flow of ideas between participants. One of the expected outcomes from the program is that we will deepen our connections with each other and learn about the challenges and opportunities faced by the various business and community sectors.
Resilience in 2022 with TBWC
One of our first guests will be Dr Lucy Ryan from the UK. She is the author of the bestselling book ‘Lunchtime Learning for Leaders’. Her PhD explored women in leadership positions. She’s an expert coach with twenty years of experience working with individuals and teams and is one of the UK’s leading positive psychology coaches and an expert in leadership resilience.
Lucy is one of ten guest experts who are taking part in our program throughout the year.
Handling stress in 2022 with TBWC
A key element of our Townsville Business Women’s 2022/23 FY leadership program is to equip participants with self-care tools.
So many of us are under the pump right now trying to manage teams, advance in our careers, support our families and, in some cases, care for elderly relatives.
It’s not surprising that when juggling so many balls, we might feel that we don’t have the time for self-care.
Therefore, we’re delighted that one of our first guest speakers is Dr Delia McCabe from the Gold Coast. She’s the author of “Feed your brain” and a keynote speaker on stress in the workplace. Delia has a wealth of experience in providing practical tools to help people manage stress.
